Bamboo absorbs 35% to 45% more CO₂ per hectare than the trees often used for wood pulp A tree used in the pulp industry only produces its maximum in the last 3-5 years of its life before being cut down.

Bamboo can be harvested yearly, after 3 years and can grow up to 1m meter a day. And produces 5 to 6 the amount of raw material V trees Trees can only be harvested every 18 to 25 years,  and will produce enough raw material for only 1500 normal rolls of TP, and then die as they are cut down
